I've played and sort of beat the game (didn't get married), and I can admit that while I love the gameplay, I find the characters a bit boring, art bland, and music dull. The real problem though for me is Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town. Still, I really do like the game a lot and it's something I know I'lll play over and over. Now don't get me wrong, this game didn't need to be exactly like the originals, but sometimes feels like it's missing. SoS Mineral Town, for example, is a really fun game for me and I truly enjoy it, but do feel like it doesn't have the life the original had. I feel like the series is a bit lifeless, though I still enjoy it quite a bit. Are you happy with them? Or more disappointed? Or maybe in the middle?įor me, I'm in the middle when it comes to the Story of Seasons games. I just wanted to know your overall thoughts on the recent games made for the Switch(or other consoles). I'm asking because I see people not too happy with Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town or sometimes even Mineral Town. With the new Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life being made, I wanted to ask if people are generally happy, disappointed, or meh with the more recent Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon games for the Switch (or Steam/PS/X Box).
